The disciples asked, “Don’t you care that we are about to drown?” Sometimes we are in situations that feel overwhelming like we are in a storm about to drown. Does anyone care? Yes! God cares about us and he sees what we are going through. In the same way that He calmed the storm, He can also calm our anxious hearts and give us peace. Dear God in Heaven, I believe that you are all-powerful and that you care about me. I often feel anxious about things in my life. Please help me learn how to give my worries to you and let you have control. Please teach me how to trust you and give me your peace. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
